The OneExtra GbR("OneExtra") offers interactive online content, which is accessible via the domains (www.neuronation.de, www.neuro-nation.de, www.neuro-nation.com und www.neuronation.com). The content is a website("NeuroNation") which enables the user to train his mental abilities by means of specially developed exercises.

§1. Scope of this terms of use(TOU) document

By joining NeuroNation every user agrees to the TOU. The TOU regulates the relationship between the users and between NeuroNation and it's users. Violation the TOU can induce the deletion of the account by NeuroNation, in this case, the user is not allowed to register once again.

OneExtra reserves the right to modify these TOU. The users will be informed per email in case of a modification of the TOU. The account will be locked down until the user explicitely agrees to the new TOU.

§2. Creating an account

In order to access the full scope of NeuroNation a user has to register. The registration is free of cost. After registration an account is created and the data needed to access NeuroNation is stored.

Anyone in posession of a valid email account is allowed to register at NeuroNation.

The registration process begins with a short test composed of five exercises. The result of the test is used to estimate the "Brain Performance"(§4.5). The test is voluntary and can be skipped without affecting the registration. After the test the user has to fill out a simple registration form containing an email adress, a nickname and the date of birth of the user.

NeuroNation will immediately send a confirmation email containing a preliminary password. The user can log in for the first using this password. For security reasons the user is required to change this password after the first login.

§3. Deleting an account

The user always has the option to delete his or her account by clicking "Delete Account" on the "Account" page. After successful deletion the user data is deleted from the NeuroNation database. User data includes email,nickname, year of birth, game comments and scores. The user name will not be displayed on the webpage after deleting. It is not possible to undo the deletion of an account.

§4. Umfang von NeuroNation

NeuroNation is composed of following key features: Training, progress monitoring, ranking, user comments.

Training: The user can complete exercises by chosing a training of a fixed length or by chosing a single exercise.

Progress Monitoring offers the user the possibility to review achieved scores.

4.4
Ranking: Any user can compare his "Brain Performance" with any other user. NeuroNation has a hiscore where the nicknames are listed and sorted by their "Brain Performance". By Registering every user agrees that his scores are concidered public inside NeuroNation and can be seen by any user of NeuroNation. Every user has the possibility to add users(friends) to his or her friends list. Nicknames and scores of friends may be displayed separately. There is no limitation to adding users to the friends list. The users which were added will not be informed explicitely by NeuroNation.

The "Brain Performance"(BP) is a measure developed by NeuroNation. BP is calculated by using the scores a user achieved and his or her year of birth. BP is used only for comparison between users and for progress monitoring.

Every user has the possibility to leave comments for each exercise. It is prohibited to leave comments which violate §5.2.

NeuroNation preserves the right to disable or constrain it's service permanently or temporarily if it is necessary for technical reasons, security reasons, capacity reasons.

§5. User obligations

5.1
The password is to be treated confidentially and may not be disclosed to any third-party. OneExtra will never ask users for their password, except for login or if changing the current password. If a user assumes that an unauthorized third person is using his or her account he or she is advised to immediately inform NeuroNation(contact@neuro-nation.com).

5.2
The user agrees to not:

defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others. impersonate any person or entity, including, for example, a Company employee or officer, a Site leader, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity. post messages that contain material that is inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or indecent. This includes any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party.

5.3
In case of violation of §5.1 or §5.2 OneExtra reserves the right to delete the concerned account and content.

5.4
NeuroNation may be used exclusively for private purposes. The acquisition, usage, evaluation or storing of data acquired from NeuroNation is prohibited.

5.5
It is not allowed to use NeuroNation commercially or for advertising.

5.6
The content accessible through NeuroNation may not be copied, reproduced without complience with the respective owners.

5.7
It is prohibited to publish any spam or advertisement.

5.8
Electronic attacks on NeuroNation (and all involved hardware and software components required for operating ) or on users of NeuroNation are prohibited.Electronic attacks are e.g.:

Hacking: bypassing security mechanisms in order to acquire or modify data.

Denial-of-Service: sending a multiplicity of genrated requests to the NeuroNation servers in order hinder or slow down them. Cracking: using, changing, decompiling the files used by NeuroNation(especially *.SWF).

§6. Limited Liability

OneExtra is not obligated to observe transferred or stored data. If OneExtra gains knowledge about data violating §5 the consequences described in §5 apply.

§7. Privacy policy

OneExtra stores personal data (email,nickname,year of birth) for login purposes and . Scores and the year of birth are used to calculate the "Brain performance". All data is deleted after account deletion(§3). The Password is stored in encrypted form. The encryption process implies the use of a oneway function (MD5). The password cannot be retrieved from it's encrypted version neither by OneExtra nor by third parties.
The email addresses provided by the user in order to invite other people to NeuroNation( "Send to Friend" ) are stored until the account is deleted.

§8. Emails

If the user registers to use the Site and Services, he or she hereby consents to receive email communications from OneExtra, including customer service issues, new products and other matters. OneExtra reserves the right to email you at any time regarding issues related to your account and your use of NeuroNation.

§9. Subscription fees and payment

NeuroNation is completely free and exclusively ad sponsored. The user will not be charged for registration or for training.
